Sermon Description:

When we think of prayer, often we think of praying for ourselves - things WE need.  But prayer is also a powerful act of love and participation with God in His work, rather than merely a means to fulfill personal needs. God’s vision for prayer has always been inclusive, inviting all people to experience His presence and transformation. And Jesus’ teachings on prayer show that intercessory prayer is a way of "minding the gap" between heaven and earth, aligning ourselves with God's will. And even in times of unanswered prayers or when God’s responses are not as expected, prayer is about trusting God's presence and ongoing work.
