This is What We Do - Week 2
In the Book of Acts, we see the earliest formings of the early church, and we see (among other important things) that this was a community, centered on the person of Jesus Christ, that lived lives of radical generosity. But in the US, today, Christians are only giving at 2.5 percent per capita, which is curious because during the Great Depression they gave at a 3.3 percent rate. Why so...stingy? And how can we move beyond guilt to become a people who are generous?
