THE AFTERWORD | Matthew : Season 2 - Week 1

C.S. Lewis once said that conscience is nothing more than the voice of God within our souls.  He viewed it as the bridge that links the “creature to the creator.”  But how is the conscience different than the Holy Spirit?  And although it might seem strange to say “I think God is trying to talk to me” the full counsel of Scripture says that’s exactly what God wants to do. Steve and David talk about some helpful “guardrails” to help us listen to God’s voice - and make sure it’s actually God (and not just our own self-centered ideas baptized in religious language).
