THE AFTERWORD | I'm Terrible With Names - Week 1

Of all the lies floating around the world, that old playground limerick might be one of the worst. “Sticks and stones can break my bones” it says “but words can never hurt me.” This is a bold-faced lie because we all know the power of words to hurt us. BUT...we also know how healing words can bring. How they bring life. In this episode, we talk about the title of Jesus as The Word, given to Him in the opening pages of John’s Gospel. Also, we talk to some staff about a time when they experienced the healing power of words, and we kick off a brand-new feature: Bible Nerd Out Time with our friend Sarah K. Lee.
