Easter 2022
"On the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb."
These are the opening words of the story of Easter. What happens next is beyond imagination and exactly what the world needs most—the miracle of God bringing daylight to pierce the darkness. And there is so much darkness in our world. Wars and pandemics, economic and social turmoil, personal and communal pain and anxiety. We all feel it. And we all need the sun to rise on the long night. Easter is this story. And because of this story, we celebrate and are filled with the hope, joy and courage that the Resurrection of Jesus offers all of us.
