Every year, at the start of the New Year, we host a Formation Conference. The goal of this conference is to slow down, create space, and think deeply about what it means for us to truly follow after Jesus.

Ortberg will be taking us through the content of his new book STEPS, which is rooted in the teachings of Jesus and uses the framework of AA's 12 steps as a guide. Ortberg will offer all of us a freeing roadmap for:

  • Giving up our exhausting and fruitless efforts to fix, manage, and control our own lives.

  • Distinguishing between when willpower is essential and when it is futile.

  • Discovering how God can do for us what we can’t do for ourselves.

  • Living authentically, joyfully, and in communion with God and other people.
