Explore is a one week class in which you can learn more about WestGate Church. If you’re just checking us out, this is a great way to learn about the history and structure of the church and many ways for you to be more involved. Our next session of Explore is June 30th at 7 p.m. in the Gym.
Discovery is the next step giving you more information about WestGate Church, our beliefs and what makes us unique. Discovery begins July 7th at 7 p.m. in the Gym.
Six40 Life "Core" Groups focus on learning and practicing the elements of Six40 Discipleship : Loving God, Loving Our Neighbors, and Loving One Another. Once you have attended Discovery, you'll be ready for a Six40 Life Core Group.
Six40 Life Groups “The Heart of WestGate—Living as Six40 Disciples.”
We refer to our small groups as Six40 Life Groups. Our desire is to become a place where our larger church family is represented in many smaller communities of faith, where people can live out the principles of Six40 Discipleship. If you have completed Discovery and you've participated in all three parts of a Six40 Group, you're ready to be in Six40 Life Group!
Six40 Life Groups meet on a regular basis, most often weekly and in local homes with some meeting on the church campus. We currently have groups meeting on campus on Tuesday and Wednesday nights with childcare available.
Most of our groups study a curriculum that helps them dive into the Bible. Each participates in the goals of a Six40 Disciple - to Love God, Love Our Neighbor and Love One Another.
